While it's true that most large species of Aragami are newer, the Kyuubi are clear proof that newer Aragami aren't just superior to older Aragami. And it's a misconception that Aragami are always growing stronger.
#How many people are playing god eater rage burst series
One of the points that's made across the series is that one of our greatest strengths as a species is our ability and willingness to work together for the common good. The difference is most Aragami aren't intelligent like Humans and don't combine their minds to achieve communal goals like Humanity does. While it is true that Aragami continue to adapt, so do Humans: even within each God Eater game alone, you see a plethora of new technologies and new strategies being developed. Humanity just needs to live long enough to see it, which is essentially assured. The Ashlands are nothing by comparison to the threat that it posed: the Ashlands just weren't prevented in time.Īnd while I'll try not to spoil too much, God Eater 2 literally ends with crystal clear indication that there is in fact hope for the future, and the restoration of earth isn't just a possibility, but an inevitability. The Devouring Apocalypse is the end-all be-all of Armageddon scenarios, and it was stopped. Suffice it to say the end of the world isn't inevitable, and that's basically the entire point of God Eater as a series. Its dark yeah but i think it could work and it would be a great way to end the series. Creating a more peaceful/inhabitable planet. Thus I'm thinking if we the player, tried to battle against some unknown, unbeatable catastrophe, the world end yes but at the same time start a new.
So i wonder would a hard reset really have been all that bad? Beings like Phym and Shio, Humanoid aragami, helped slightly but ultimately didn't change much. It's even more fucked up than it was prior. Hell in my if i was in the God Eater world i may have even sided with him. The devouring apocalypse was supposedly gonna cleanse the world of Aragami which would have overall solved the core issue. With Johannes, in Ressurection i couldn't even fully see him as a villain because in his own way, even if it was fucked up he wanted to save the world. It's a miracle humanity lasted this long. The aragami adapt, they grow stronger and evolve. And when peace does exist, its extremely short lived. Not to mention, with each victory, there's hardly ever any peace. Hell if it wasn't for God Eaters and even Revenants humanity would have been done for. I mean let's be real here, earth is hardly what you would call habitable. An inescapable event that would destroy the planet or rather finish it off. However what I'm thinking is and this could potentially happen in a God Eater 4, ending the series perhaps. Humanity is continuously trying to find ways to survive. Wether it be the Aragami, the Devouring Apocalypse, Red Rain or Ash Storms.
So, humanity is constantly delaying the inevitable. I am now playing through God Eater Rage Burst 2 currently but i wanted to share some thoughts i had on the overall state of the world of God Eater. So, just to clarify I've played through God Eater 3 and God Eater Resurrection.
